Trunkline<\/strong>, c\u2019est l\u2019union de Madben<\/strong> et Yann Lean <\/strong>autour d\u2019une techno brute bas\u00e9e sur le groove, les textures et les gimmicks rythmiques. Influenc\u00e9s par le son rave des ann\u00e9es 90, les deux producteurs fran\u00e7ais d\u00e9livrent une techno bas\u00e9e sur la vivacit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00e9criture et la spontan\u00e9it\u00e9. Avec Trunkline, ils retrouvent le grain particulier de la techno r\u00e9alis\u00e9e avec des machines analogiques. Sur sc\u00e8ne, le duo performe un live 100% hardware en interaction avec le public gr\u00e2ce aux possibilit\u00e9s d\u2019improvisation propos\u00e9 par un tel set up, \u00e0 l\u2019instar de jazzmen. Ils utilisent des synth\u00e9tiseurs modulaires Moog et Kilpatrick Audio, des boites \u00e0 rythmes Elektron et Roland mais aussi un filtre master Bastl Instruments r\u00e9alis\u00e9 sur mesure. La partie s\u00e9quen\u00e7age \u00e0 la vol\u00e9e est assur\u00e9 par des Beatstep Pro d\u2019Arturia. Aucun ordinateur, tout est branch\u00e9 dans une console analogique Midas 24 voies qui leur permets d\u2019utiliser bien d\u2019autres machines. Sur le dancefloor, le duo a aussi l\u2019habitude de d\u00e9ployer une \u00e9nergie redoutablement efficace en dj set \u00e0 quatre mains. R\u00e9guli\u00e8rement jou\u00e9s par des artistes aussi prestigieux.ses que Laurent Garnier<\/strong>, Dave Clarke<\/strong>, Paula Temple <\/strong>ou Ben<\/strong> Klock<\/strong>, leurs productions sont sorties sur de beaux labels internationaux comme KR\/LF<\/strong>, Planet Rhythm<\/strong>, Gynoid<\/strong> ou Noir Music<\/strong> et ils ont l\u2019honneur de remixer Carl Cox <\/strong>et Nicole Moudaber<\/strong> sur le label Mood Records. En 2022 sort \u00ab Mercy<\/em><\/strong> \u00bb, le premier album de Trunkline qu\u2019ils signent sur le label belge Arkham Audio et qui s\u2019accompagne d\u2019un tout nouveau live machines sur sc\u00e8ne. Un nouveau chapitre prolongeant leur passion pour l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation analogique et le travail de textures : un beau m\u00e9lange d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 brute et de paysages \u00e9motionnels et atmosph\u00e9riques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trunkline <\/strong>is the union of Madben <\/strong>and Yann Lean<\/strong> around a raw techno based on groove, textures and rhythmic gimmicks. Influenced by the rave sound of the 90s, the two French producers deliver a techno based on the liveliness of writing and spontaneity. With Trunkline, they rediscover the distinctive grain of techno only achieved with analogue machines. On stage, Trunkline plays a 100% hardware live set up which allows for jazzlike improvisations and interactions with the audience. They use Moog and Kilpatrick Audio modular synthesizers, Elektron and Roland drum machines and a custom-made Bastl Instruments master filter. The on-the-fly sequencing part is done by Arturia’s Beatstep Pro. No computer! Everything is plugged into a 24 channel Midas analogue console which allows them to use many other machines. On the dancefloor, the duo is also used to deploying a formidable energy in four-handed dj sets. Regularly played by prestigious artists such as  Laurent Garnier<\/strong>, Dave Clarke<\/strong>, Paula Temple <\/strong>or BenKlock<\/strong>, their productions have been released on beautiful international labels such as KR\/LF<\/strong>, Planet Rhythm<\/strong>, Gynoid<\/strong> or Noir Music<\/strong> and they have the honor of remixing Carl Cox<\/strong> and Nicole Moudaber <\/strong>on the Mood Records label. In 2022 \u00ab\u00a0Mercy<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb is released, Trunkline’s first album that they sign on the Belgian label Arkham Audio and that comes with a brand new live machine. A new chapter in their passion for analog experimentation and textural work: a beautiful mix of raw efficiency and emotional, atmospheric landscapes. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
