Avec DNGLS<\/strong>, side project de Maxime Dangles<\/strong>, le producteur fran\u00e7ais d\u00e9voile un alter ego plus sombre et cin\u00e9mato-graphique, un univers atmosph\u00e9rique et captivant, agitant ses exp\u00e9rimentations modulaires et odes aussi dansantes que fascinantes. Apr\u00e8s une brillante collaboration avec Len Faki<\/strong> en 2016, DNGLS a sorti sur Anemone Recordings<\/strong> son premier long-format en 2017, \u2018Lukarne\u2019 : sa vision de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation underground avec ses machines analogiques, profond\u00e9ment inspir\u00e9 par les compositeurs des bandes cin\u00e9matographiques qui le fascinent comme Hans Zimmer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00c0 coup de sonorit\u00e9s sombres et m\u00e9lancoliques, DNGLS <\/strong>transporte au coeur de basslines hypnotiques, entrem\u00eal\u00e9es d\u2019effets discordants d\u2019une qualit\u00e9 \u00e9th\u00e9r\u00e9e et de textures lisses et subtiles. Projet totalement d\u00e9di\u00e9 au live et \u00e0 la production analogique, l\u2019environnement musical qu\u2019il cr\u00e9\u00e9 est fait de sons ac\u00e9r\u00e9s, bruts et saisissants. Cette exp\u00e9rience sonore a d\u00e9j\u00e0 s\u00e9duit de belles sc\u00e8nes comme Astropolis, le Glazart, le Rex, le Trabendo, Les \u00celots Electroniques ou Nordik Impakt<\/strong>. Arm\u00e9 de son impressionnant modulaire, on le retrouvait \u00e9galement sur l\u2019\u00e9cran de Culturebox <\/strong>pour un \u00e9pisode de Sequences, s\u00e9rie d\u00e9di\u00e9e aux lives \u00e9lectroniques tourn\u00e9e \u00e0 360\u00b0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maxime Dangles <\/strong>discloses a new identity with DNGLS <\/strong>: an alter ego darker and rawer, producing a music both atmospheric and captivating, through modular experiments and fascinating sounds. After a sparkling collaboration with Len Faki<\/strong> in 2016, DNGLS<\/strong> realeased his first album in 2017, \u2018Lukarne\u2019, on Anemone Recordings<\/strong>. Deeply inspired by film soudtracks composers such as Hans Zimmer, this album takes listeners down an hour-long journey of hypnotic, rolling bass lines, intricately layered with jarring effects and an ethereal quality that fills the room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The smooth, subtle buildups and seamless transitions evoke feelings from apprehension to liberation, reminiscent of the film work that inspired the album\u2019s conception. DNGLS\u2019 inimitable sound lends itself to his passion for machines over softwares and digital technology. Fully committed to the live, analog methods of production and mixing, the music environment DNGLS <\/strong>creates is made of sharp, raw and striking sounds. This sound experience already convinced many famous scenes, such as Astropolis, Glazart, Rex, Trabendo<\/strong> and much more. His extensive knowledge and understanding of sound is reflected in his productions, and in the creative and original projects he is involved in.
