Né d’une profonde amitié en 2013, Möd3rn est un projet live canalisant l’énergie brute de la techno à travers l’improvisation pure. D’abord fondé par Electric Rescue, Maxime Dangles et Traumer, il accueille ensuite Kmyle et Moteka. Ensemble, ils façonnent une expérience sonore immersive où chaque performance devient un voyage unique dans une techno organique.
L’essence du groupe repose sur la synergie de ses membres, chacun apportant son savoir-faire. Figure clé de la scène techno française et du label Skryptöm, Electric Rescue, accompagné de Moteka et Kmyle, privilégie la collaboration à la compétition. Bien que Maxime Dangles et Traumer aient suivi d’autres voies artistiques, leur influence demeure une base solide pour Möd3rn.
Le cœur du projet Möd3rn réside dans la performance live : un maelström d’énergie brute et de textures où la techno s’exprime sans filtre. Entièrement improvisée, leur musique naît d’un assemblage de machines — synthétiseurs, boîtes à rythmes, modulaires — connectées à une grande table de mixage, favorisant une interaction directe avec le public et des instants éphémères et uniques.
Du Rex Club aux grands festivals internationaux, Möd3rn explore et repousse les frontières de la techno. À travers leur label, ils publient des albums qui reflètent leur vision collective. Plus qu’un projet artistique, Möd3rn incarne la puissance de l’alchimie et de l’improvisation, animé par une passion commune pour la musique et la quête d’authenticité.

Born out of a deep friendship in 2013, Möd3rn was established as a live act channeling techno’s raw energy through pure improvisation. Initially founded by Electric Rescue, Maxime Dangles, and Traumer, the ensemble later welcomed Kmyle and Moteka. Together, they create a shared musical experience, where every performance becomes a unique journey into the organic sounds of techno. The essence of Möd3rn lies in the synergy of its members, each bringing their unique talents. Electric Rescue, a pivotal figure in the French rave scene and the visionary behind Skryptöm, along with Moteka and Kmyle, thrives on collaboration rather than competition. Although Maxime Dangles and Traumer have moved on, their contributions laid the group’s innovative foundation.
At the core of Möd3rn is their live performance. Their sound is a blend of raw yet nuanced energy : a maelstrom that captures the essence of techno. Entirely improvised, their setup integrates synthesizers, drum machines, computers, effects, and modular gear through a large analog mixer, delivering an unfiltered, experience. This approach fosters direct audience interaction, making every moment unique. From the Rex Club’s intimate setting to global festival stages, Möd3rn constantly explores and redefines techno’s boundaries. Through their record label they release albums that reflect their collective vision.
